CEPA Working Group

The mission of CTLCV Ed Fund is to increase environmental awareness among Connecticut's citizens and to build a stronger, more unified environmental community working toward common policy objectives.

CTLCV Ed Fund implements a number of programs to advance its mission. All of these programs help to assist leadership organizations to coordinate their policy agendas and the messages they deliver to policy makers and the public.

Program Areas

Annual Legislative Conference on the Environment

CTLCV Ed Fund hosts an annual summit of environmental leaders and advocates with the goal of unifying the community around a set of common issues.

Polling & Communications Training

Every year, CTLCV Ed Fund conducts survey research into the environmental attitudes of Connecticut voters to help environmental advocates develop more effective messages.

Educational Materials for Policymakers and the Public

Using the expertise of dozens of environmental organizations, the Ed Fund creates education materials for policymakers and the public on key environmental issues in the state.

CEPA Working Group

CTLCV Ed Fund is one of nearly 20 groups and individuals working to strengthen the Connecticut Environmental Policy Act (CEPA) and its sister legislation, the Protection Act.
