The Connecticut League of Conservation Voters Education Fund receives support from state, local and family foundations as well as national organizations. This funding, especially general unrestricted funding grants, help support our overhead that allows us to continue being a leader in Connecticut’s environmental community. Such overhead includes staff and operating costs that are essential in supporting our small but dedicated team. In addition, we also receive restricted grants to help fund special initiatives or issue areas within our programmatic work. These issue areas include civic engagement (voting rights link), youth and community organizing (link), education and advocacy (summit link), partnerships and coalition building (committees link), and other important issue areas (link to issues).
If your foundatIon supports either general funding opportunities or individual issue areas, please contact our Development Office. We are ready to provide RFP’s and any additional supporting documents that will initiate the funding process. We are tremendously grateful for the support of our foundations.
